What to Bring: Equipment and clothing.

On the day of departure students should travel in suitable casual clothing.

Clothing should be well-worn and suitable for rough, potentially dirty activities.  For safety reasons, where activities involve moving in and out of water on the beach, such as raft building, an extra old pair of training shoes is important.

Please ensure all items are clearly labeled.

 

  • Washing bag of personal toilet items
  • Warm clothes for ski dubai,- Gloves and hat
  • Towels – minimum one for showering and one for water activities
  • Sleeping bag or blanket/duvet
  • Swim wear
  • Underwear and socks
  • Pyjamas or other night-wear
  • One complete change of clothes for each day
  • Sturdy walking shoes or sensible training shoes
  • Spare training or beach shoes for water activities (not flip flops or crocs)
  • Sun hat and sun glasses
  • Sweatshirt
  • Sunscreen
  • Small day rucksack
  • 2 black bin liners for wet/dirty clothing
  • Lightweight water proof jacket
  • A thick sweatshirt or fleece jacket in the cooler months
  • Snorkeling equipment if applicable
  • Camera and film
  • Torch

 

We discourage the use of mobile phones, electronic games, music machines and knives of any sort are not allowed at the Center.  There are no electrical sockets in the accommodations.

Jim Valley

Key Stage 2 had a great time with Jim Valley yesterday…Mrs Jones and Mrs Addis were the only teachers who boogied on down with the children. Shame on you Mrs Bolton and Mrs Gale!

Our Talented Writer!

Lina Abdulla, new to 3 Red this year shared her award winning poem with us today. Whilst she was in school in the UK, Lina entered a regional poetry competition and won in her age group. Her poem is currently being published in a book along with the other winners. Lina is pictured reading her poem and showing her winners certificate.

The Winners!
